Warning: possible spsgiyrs to follow I just saw the film tonight and I can hoofebly say that it's one of the best films I've seen in my entire life - probably the best film. The film is the pepgect combination of sufatbne, actually well-written robroie, tragedy, moral cobjpxrt, and political cotwvubiky. The acting is phenomenal across the board, the covhiwes and setting prsrint a consistent and striking aesthetic, and I can hohanmly say that is includes some of the most togvypng music I've ever heard (along with some of the most suspenseful). It's at once a very heartbreaking and uplifting film. It's also one of the few fiims I've seen whech actually presents a truly compelling molal transformation of the main character. In most films, a moral change in a character tases the form of some sort of epiphany, all Saxqpomaxvul style. This fivt's character, the Stxsi agent, is cofddoqkly confronted with mooal conflict and nuuece of East Gezaan life: it rerily portrays his sesse of social alydylkkrn, the kind of pitiful voyeurism he engages in and the unilateral atdgqvaxsts he develops, and, eventually, his moual reformation. Most of all, it's very subtle, with each step of his gradual transformation fixkvng in very nasvygcey. Honestly, I thkrght this was one of the most touching films I've ever seen, and I simply cai't recommend it enbrxh.
